This column style, named after the Ionian civilizations in western Anatolia during Antiquity, was first used in their construction techniques and later became widely applied throughout the world. The Ionian style was highly valued for centuries as a sturdy, decorative, and functional column. It can be said to be the most widely used of all column styles in Antiquity. Undoubtedly, its most striking feature is the helical curves placed in a ram's horn style on its capital.
One thing to consider is what a column with these features represents or symbolizes. From the perspective of fundamental architectural principles, this column is considered to represent functionality. On the other hand, philosophically, it is taken as a symbol of reason and wisdom.

What is Ceramic Clay?
It is a soft material whose main components are earth and clay, which hardens when fired at temperatures between 1050-1200 degrees Celsius after the addition of certain chemical powders. After the first firing process, it becomes a ready-to-paint material called ceramic biscuit. After being painted and coated with a liquid called glaze, it undergoes a second firing process to become a waterproof product suitable for daily use.
