Born in Istanbul in 1964, the artist completed her undergraduate, graduate, and art proficiency studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. She worked as a faculty member at the same university for 12 years and at Sakarya University for 9 years. She has two solo exhibitions. Her works have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally. She is currently a faculty member at ARUCAD University in Kyrenia, Cyprus. After her retirement, she also became interested in paper pulp and continued working with this material for some time. Having settled in a village in Fethiye, the artist works with ceramics, glass, and porcelain in her studio located in the same location.
